BOOKING POLICY – RESTAURANT KENNEH

By making a reservation with Restaurant Kenneh, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. RESERVATIONS & COMMUNICATION

1.1 Reservations can be made online via our website or by phone. Due to our limited seating capacity, advance reservations are highly recommended.

1.2 Transactional Consent: By completing a booking, you explicitly consent to Restaurant Kenneh contacting you via email or SMS regarding your current reservation (including confirmations, reminders, or changes).

1.3 Future Reach-Out: You consent to us reaching out to you in the future specifically regarding your reservation history or to follow up on your previous visits.

1.4 Newsletters: You will only receive our marketing newsletter if you explicitly "opt-in" via the checkbox during the Guestplan booking process.

2. ARRIVAL & GRACE PERIOD

2.1 The 15-Minute Rule: We hold your table for 15 minutes past your reserved time.

2.2 Late Arrival: If you are running late, please notify us immediately. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, we reserve the right to mark your booking as a "No-Show" and release the table to other guests.

3. DEPOSITS

3.1 A deposit is required for bookings that include The Full West-African ExperienceA la carte MenuTasting Menu, our occasional Special Menus.

3.2 The deposit will be fully deducted from your final bill on the day of your visit.

3.3 Refunds: If a reservation is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, the deposit will be refunded within 14 working days.

3.4 Forfeiture: For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reservation, or in the case of a no-show, the deposit is non-refundable.

4. CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS

4.1 Should you need to cancel or modify your reservation, we kindly request that you do so at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.

4.2 Legacy Rule: All reservations made before February 28, 2026, remain subject to our previous 24-hour cancellation policy.

4.3 Restaurant Kenneh reserves the right to amend or cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, we will make every effort to provide an alternative arrangement.

5. GUEST NUMBER CHANGES & PENALTIES

5.1 If the number of guests in your party changes, please contact us during operating hours to notify us.

5.2 Late Reductions: For reductions in guest count made within 48 hours of the reservation, a penalty fee of €60 per missing guest will be applied. This covers food preparation costs and lost opportunity.

5.3 During peak periods (weekends, holidays, or special events), this penalty may be increased to reflect higher operational costs.

6. CHILDREN & GROUP BOOKINGS

6.1 Adults-Only Atmosphere: Due to the intimate and limited nature of our dining space, we are unable to accommodate children.

6.2 Large Groups (7+): For bookings of 7 or more guests, please contact us directly at info@restaurantkenneh.com. Separate policies regarding deposits and fixed menus apply to group bookings.

7. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

7.1 All dietary restrictions, allergies, or intolerances must be communicated at the time of booking.

7.2 While we strive to accommodate all guests, adjustments to dietary needs requested within 48 hours of the booking cannot be guaranteed.

8. NO-SHOW POLICY & DATA RETENTION

8.1 No-Show Tracking: We reserve the right to record no-shows in our system. Future reservations for guests with a history of no-shows may require full pre-payment.

8.2 Retention: To provide high-quality service for returning guests and to comply with Dutch Tax Law (which requires records for 7 years), your booking details are not automatically deleted from our system.

9. PAYMENT & LEGAL TERMS

9.1 We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other approved methods listed on our website.
